LCC marching band competes at Wayne event

WAYNE — The Laurel-Concord- Coleridge “Bear” Marching Band competed in the Wayne Band Day Parade on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Stanton took first place in the C2 division.

The band’s drum major, Emma Sohler, led the 26 marching band members with their two cadences and their marching band song “Arrivo Banda” by David Shaffer.

Flag corps members are: Kylla Klausen, Darly Garcia-Perez, Jaylla Klausen, Kassidy Koch, and Stella Kock.

Banner Carriers are Jeremiah Kinkaid and Olivia Wright. The LCC “Bear” mascot is Avery Stone.

The LCC Marching Band will be competing in the Dakota Days Parade on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 9 a.m. in Vermillion, S.D.
