HARTINGTON — On Monday, Sept. 16, the Hartington-Newcastle JV football team earned a hard-fought 36-12 victory over Crofton in a very physical game.
Jason Heimes continued his stellar play, dominating on the ground and returning another kick for a touchdown—his second in as many games—thanks to excellent blocking.
Will Feilmeier used his speed out of the backfield to consistently get to the edge on run plays, adding another dimension to the offense.
Defensively, Aiden Collier was a standout, flying all over the field and making key stops to help secure the win.
“It was a total team effort in a gritty, well-earned victory,” coaches said.
