HARTINGTON — The Cedar Catholic golf team earned third-place honors at last week’s Stanton Invitational.
Wayne won the event with a 377, while LCC shot a 414 to earn runner-up honors.
Cedar was led on the day by Maggie Dendinger, who fired a 108 over 18 holes to earn 11th place honors. Lauren Potts trailed her into the clubhouse with a 112.
Cedar also recently competed in a dual against Crofton and a triangular with Pierce and Norfolk Catholic. The Lady Trojans won both contests.
At Crofton Cedar’s Josie Heine and Alexa Suing of Crofton tied for medalist honors, each firing a 49. Lauren Potts finished third in that contest with a 54.
In the triangular, the Lady Trojans fired a 231 to edge Pierce, which had a 233 on the day.
Josie Heine again led the team, carding a 51, which was good enough for thirdplace honors. Lauren Potts finished in fourth with a 54.
