Cedar, Fremont Bergan to play for 12th time

HARTINGTON — Friday’s Cedar Catholic Homecoming football game will mark only the 12th time the Trojans and Archbishop Bergan have met on the gridiron.

Cedar Catholic/Holy Trinity holds a 6-5 all-time record against Fremont St. Pats / Fremont Bergan.

The last time the two teams met in the regular season was in 1994, when the Trojans, under Coach Mike Scanlon, earned a 14-6 win over the Knights. The Knights won the last meeting between the two teams, a 40-0 playoff shutout in 2010.
