LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Thomas James Modde, 71, Lakewood, Colo., died June 17, 2024, from natural causes. Born Jan.26, 1953, in Lincoln, to the late Paul and Nona Modde, Hartington. Thomas attended Cedar Catholic High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army for three years. Following his military service, he embarked on a long and dedicated career with BNSF Railroad, where he worked at all levels of electrical communications, including management, until his retirement. Thomas was known for his dedication to his work. Thomas is survived by his brothers, Jeff Modde and James Modde; and his sisters, Janine Modde TerKuile, Annette Modde Mahoney, Patricia Modde Martin, and Kathy Modde McEachen. He leaves behind his numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
