Robert D. ‘Rob’ Olberding

LINCOLN – A memorial service for Robert D. “Rob” Olberding, 60, Lincoln, will be April 14, at 2 p.m., at the Home for Funerals Chapel, Norfolk. Chaplain Gordon Braun will officiate. The funeral services will also be live streamed on the funeral home’s website.

LINCOLN — A memorial service for Robert D. “Rob” Olberding, 60, Lincoln, will be April 14, at 2 p.m., at the Home for Funerals Chapel, Norfolk. Chaplain Gordon Braun will officiate. The funeral services will also be live streamed on the funeral home’s website.

Burial will be in the Randolph City Cemetery. Visitation with his family will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

Rob died April 8, 2023, in Lincoln. Robert Dale was born in Osmond, to Edwin and Elsie (Strathman) Olberding, April 2, 1963.

Robert was a loving husband, father, papa and brother. He will be remembered for his hard work, determination and conquering spirit.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Olberding; his children, Ira (Erin) Loghry, Sarah Greenwood and Amanda Olberding (Austin Castillo); his grandchildren, Tayven Greenwood, and Maverick and Miles Castillo; his brothers, Clarence (Charrye), Terry (Marcia), Rick and Dave (Melissa) Olberding; his sisters, Judy (Steve) Stueckrath and Karen McDonald; and many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Rob was preceded in death aby his parents; his brother, Bernie Olberding; brother-in-law, Gary Studey; and father-in-law, Donald Studey.
