Eleven LCC band members earn honors at All State band event

KEARNEY — The 38th Class C All State Honor Band was held at Kearney High School March 23.

There were 11 Class C All State Band members and medalists from Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School.

They are: Junior High Band: Alex Allison, tenor saxophone; Mady- son Campbell, alto saxophone; Jolynn Kinkaid, timpani; Nolan Nordby, timpani; Symphonic Band: Paul Al - lison, trombone; Sam Cross, alto saxophone; Shawn Grith, trom - bone; Preston Rose, trombone; Christian Staples, trumpet; Wind Ensemble: Derek Nel - son, batter percussion, & Emma Sohler, bass clarinet; The conductors of the state bands were Rick Mitche, Junior High Band; Nathan LeFeber, Symphonic Band; and Dr. David Bohnert, Wind Ensemble.

Laurel Concord Coleridge was one of 31 schools participating in the Class C All State Band.
