WAYNE – Wayne State College’s Fred G. Dale Planetarium is set to present special Easter showings of “The Sistine Chapel” March 29-31.
Showtimes are 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. March 29 and 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. March 30-31. All shows are free and open to the public, but freewill donations are accepted.
Audience members will be able to gaze upon the same artwork found in the Sistine Chapel. After a short history of the chapel, the audience will receive a detailed explanation of all of Michaelangelo’s works, including “The Creation of Adam,” “The Book of Genesis,” the stories of Noah and Moses and “The Last Judgment.”
The planetarium is located on the lowest level of Wayne State’s Carhart Science Building.
