LCC speech students compete in Wisner, Osmond

OSMOND — The LCC speech team fared well at the recent Lewis and Clark Conference festival in Osmond.

Kolten Settje and Jackson Hall were crowned as the Conference Champs in duet speaking.

Kolten Settje also picked up a first-place award for his humorous speaking.

Others earning awards at the Conference event were: Fifth Champs Finals Informative speaking Kennedy Hall Faith Galvin second in extemporary speech. Jackson Hall fourth in extemporary speech. Clara Brummels fourth in persuasive and fifth in informative. The LCC speech team also took home several medals from the Wisner-Pilger Meet on Saturday.

Two LCC students earned top honors. Jackson Hall was first extemp, while Kolten Settje first humorous speaking.

Kolten Settje and Jackson Hall were second in Duet Speaking. Kennedy Hall fourth in informative speaking. Avery Stone finished seventh in poetry.
