FORDYCE — LifeServe Blood Center held a blood drive in Fordyce Dec. 12 and had a great turnout, with eight donors were able to donate and 10 units of life saving blood were collected. The units donated at the blood drive can help save up to 30 lives.
A milestone donation was achieved by Allan Steffen, who has donated 17 gallons of blood.
Duane Schieffer helped to coordinate the blood drive that was held in the Fordyce Fire Hall The next Fordyce Community Blood Drive is Feb. 13, 3:30-to 6 p.m., at the Fordyce Fire Hall.
