WAYNE — Dylan Dendinger, Hartington, will join 13 other students in an art exhibit featuring works created by students in Dr. Carolyn Albracht’s Art 316 course, Secondary School Art, at Wayne State College.
As a demonstration of their learning in the course over the past semester, students were tasked with creating an exhibit to communicate with a wider audience than is typically possible inside the classroom walls.
The public is invited and encouraged to visit the exhibit at Wayne State College, Peterson Fine Arts Building, Room 203. Viewing hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The exhibit includes an interactive component in which visitors are invited to add their ideas to a section titled, “Experiment.” A closing reception is planned for Jan. 17, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., and will be an opportunity to meet and talk to student artists.
