YANKTON, S.D. — Marceda L. Jones, 96, Yankton, S.D., died Oct. 29, 2023, at her home in Yankton.

Memorial services will be 10: 30 a.m., Dec. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Yankton, with Rev. Jeff Otterman officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Marceda is survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

Marceda will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, glorious attitude, and colorful hats. She loved playing Bingo and traveling with her sister, Velma Weverstad, to College World Series baseball games.

She was a member of Trinity L utheran Church in Yankton.
