CONCORD — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Haskell Ag Lab will be hosting Winter Fest, a fun and educational winter workshop for adults and youth on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The event will run from 9 a.m.-noon. The UNL Haskell Ag Lab is located at 57905 866th Road, Concord.
The event will feature programs on holiday traditions, winter tree care, animals in winter. A holiday wreath workshop will be conducted by Extension Educator Megan Hanefeldt. Youth activities will include ornaments, cookie decorating, learning activities and a special guest. Snacks will be available for all in attendance.
The cost per wreath is $2 5; all other activities are free. All children must have an adult on site. All children should wear old clothes as they will be doing some projects.

Please bring winter gloves, mittens, hats, scarves to be donated to a local coat closet for those in need. All donations will be appreciated.
