Hartington-Newcastle is celebrating Homecoming this week

HARTINGTON — It’s Homecoming week at Hartington-Newcastle.

Homecoming candidates are, freshman, Karissa Bruning, Ashlynn Pinkelman, Jason Heimes, Austin Sudbeck; sophomores, Hazel Hochstein, Lainey Morten, Dane Gotch, Issac Santiago; juniors, Madelyn Rosener, Maddie Steffen, Logan Opfer, Ayden Rosener; and seniors, boys, Riley Sudbeck, Tyler Hutchinson, Dayton Sudbeck, Kale Korth; girls, Karli Bruning, Zoey Gratzfeld, Mani Lange and Lauren Howell.

Future Royalty is Halley Lewon and Cameron Koch.

The theme for this year is “It’s the End of the Road for the Wakefield Trojans.” Dress-up days include, Monday - Dead End (Pajama day); Tuesday - Detour (Tourist Attire); Wednesday - U-Turn (Opposite day); Thursday - Class colors (seniors pink, juniors - yellow, sophomores blue, freshman - green, eighth grade - red, seventh grade - orange, staff - black; and Friday - Victory BLVD (purple and white) The Pep Rally and Coronation will be 1:30 p.m., at HNS Gym, with the parade to follow, at 2:45 p.m.

The game against the Wakefield Trojans will kick-off at 7 p.m., and the traditional Homecoming dance Saturday at 7 p.m.
