HARTINGTON — Pvt. Dennis Engstedt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Engstedt, recently arrived in Germany where he is being assigned to be a cannoneer in a heavy mortar battery in Munich.

HARTINGTON — Four cars were damaged here Tuesday afternoon when a car driven by Carl Hausmen ran into three cars parked on south Broadway Avenue.
He was charged with reckless driving and appeared in court Thursday morning.
Hausmen was fined a total of $79 and had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days.
