The Miller family regularly open their farm for elementary students to tour, and their children, Eli, Adam, Lauren and Lila are often seen helping alongside their parents at local events, the Kuhls said in their nomination letter.

She was nominated by First State Bank where she works as assistant cashier and Human Resources officer.

Schmit has worked at the bank for 14 years, being promoted many times along the way. She serves a key role in bank management, positioning the bank to best serve its customers as well as providing a welcoming and positive place to work, the nomination read.

Along with her work, she is active in ROAR and St. Frances church.

There were no nominations for the Good Neighbor Award.

At the opening of the fair, Randolph’s Economic Development Advisory Board recognized Julie Loberg as this year’s Queen Bee.
