Cedar Co. Rodeo Queen competition is Saturday

HARTINGTON – The competition takes place Saturday to see who will represent Cedar County as its Rodeo Queen.

HARTINGTON — The competition takes place Saturday to see who will represent Cedar County as its Rodeo Queen.

The competition will be held July 8 at 1 p.m. at the Cedar County Rodeo Arena.

The contestants are: Claire Rolfes, 17, who is the daughter of Craig and Jenny Rolfes, Hartington. She attends Cedar Catholic High School.

Ava Noecker, 16, is the daughter of Steven and Karen Noecker, Bow Valley. She attends Cedar Catholic High School.

Megan Olsen, 23, is the daughter of Scott and Susan Olsen. Megan is a graduate of Northeast Community College with an associate degree in veterinary technology. Shealynn Rasmussen, 17, is the daughter of Scott and Carrie Rasmussen. She will be attending Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan., this fall.
