HARTINGTON — Much anxiety was caused at the Leonard Bender home when they discovered their 22-month old son, Lyle, was missing.
After a search by family and neighbors for more than an hour, Lyle was found in his own yard.
He had crawled under some machinery.

LAUREL — A fire loss that claims approximately $5,500 was witnessed by many Friday night when a blaze of undetermined origin partially destroyed the Laurel Masonic Lodge Hall on the second floor and Truby’s Palace Market on the first floor. Damage amounted to $4,000 to the building and about $1,500 loss to merchandise in the store.
