ROSEMEAD, Calif. — Beverly (Carlson) Van Fossen, 86, Rosemead, Calif., died May 3, 2023.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in July.

Beverly was born June 22, 1936, to Rueben and Josephine Carlson in Wisner. She grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Carroll High School in 1954. Beverly married Neal Van Fossen April 15, 1959. They had three children and lived in California their whole married life, 64 years.

Beverly was known for her kindness, compassion and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She enjoyed many passions, photography, vacations, and of course, her beloved jewelry business.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Neal; children, Michele (Art) Sullivan, Bullhead City, Ariz.; Kevin (Audra) Van Fossen, Grass Valley, Calif.; and Kristin Pomrehn, Torrance, Calif.; grandchildren, Ryan, Jake, Brooke, Randi, Cody and Robbie; great-grandchildren, Landon, Nicole, Rene, Rylie, Breckin, Scott, Hazel and Beverly Rose; sisters, Elzira Fritz, Bullhead City, Ariz., and Phyllis Wellbrock, Bullhead City, Ariz.; brothers, Ronald (Bitsy) Carlson, Boulder, Colo., and Steve (Maxine) Carlson, Belgrade, Mont.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Josephine Carlson; infant sister, Marvel Carlson; nephew, Terry Wellbrock; niece, Sandra Wellbrock; brother-in-law, Don Fritz; brother-in-law, Clarence Wellbrock; and brother, Richard Carlson.
