Notice is hereby given that a Six Year Road and Street Plan for the City of Hartington, Nebraska as required by NEB. REV. STAT. Sec. 39-2119 et seq. R.R.S., has been recommended for approval by the Mayor and City Council, and that a Public Hearing be held on said Six Year Road and Street Plan on the 13th day of February, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the City Hall, at which time objection to or recommendations for said Plan will be heard.
The Cedar-Knox Public Power District Board of Directors will meet Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. in the boardroom of the district.

VILLAGE OF WYNOT
WEDNESDAY, Jan. 11, 2017, 7:00 P.M.
The regular monthly meeting of the Village Board of Wynot was called to order at the Wynot Town Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Ronald Rolfes. Notice of the meeting was posted in three (3) public places on Tues, Jan. 3, 2017, namely the Wynot Town Hall, Wynot Post Office, and the Cedar Security Bank. Roll call indicated members present: Ronald Rolfes, Charles Jones, Greg Hite, Kathy Promes and Maurice Ketter. Also present were Rose Rolfes, Village Clerk/Treasurer and Dave Koch/Maintenance, Todd Pinkelman. Maurice Ketter made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda including the following: Minutes of the Oct, 2016, Regular Village Board Meeting; Village of Wynot’s Treasurer’s Report for Dec. 2016; and the Claims attached hereto, Charles Jones seconded the motion. Motion Carried.
The amount of $750 was sent to Michael Stevens for the purchase order for the three lots in the tri-angular. Stevens said that Koch had not signed the papers yet and wanted Stevens to change some wording in the contract.
Greg Hite made a motion to sell the lots for $1500 each in order to recover some of the loss due to legal fees. Charles Jones seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Building permit was discussed for Todd Pinkelman. Kathy Promes made a motion to approve the building permit, Maurice Ketter seconded it. Motion carried.
Old Fire Hall
Motion was made by Maurice Ketter to purchase the building for $37,500. Charles Jones seconded it. Motion carried.
Hot water heater
Dave Koch reported that the hot water heater was shot. Charles Jones made a motion to purchase a new one. Kathy Promes seconded it. Motion carried.
Discussion was held on purchasing or renting a hot water heater. Ron Rolfes said he would look into it and present bids at the Feb. Meeting.
Dave reported on what his schedule entailed and reported that the garbage truck needs some repairs.
Motion was made by Maurice Ketter to annex property where Rich and Donna Boeckman plan to build. Charles Jones seconded it. Motion carried.
Chairman Rolfes reported that he enquired about raising the tax levy. Nothing can be done until next year.
The sale of the tennis court was discussed. Greg Hite will report to the school board and report back at the Feb. meeting.
Charles Jones made a motion to adjourn at 9: p.m. Kathy Promes seconded the motion; motion carried.
