Obituary – Jeanette Rose Wieseler

St. Helena — Jeanette Rose Wieseler, 82, St. Helena, died April 9, 2017, at her residence under hospice care.
Visitation and a Vigil service were Tuesday at Holy Family (Immaculate Conception) Catholic Church, St. Helena, and will continue Wednesday, at church, one hour prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial will be April 12, at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Family (Immaculate Conception) Catholic Church, with the Rev. Eric Olsen officiating.
Burial will be at Immaculate Conception cemetery, rural St. Helena.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tim Wieseler, Pat Wieseler, Steve Wieseler, Matthew Wieseler, Ronnie Wieseler, John Brodersen, Joey Kubal and Adam Welch.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanette Rose Wieseler was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Menominee, to Joseph and Josephine (Schaeffer) Peitz. She grew up on the family farm in the Menominee area. Jeanette married Eugene Donovan Wieseler Aug. 22, 1955, in Menominee. She and Gene raised 12 children and were members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Helena.
She is survived by her 12 children, Gary and Susan, St. Helena; Larry, Yankton, S.D.; Richard and Joella, Ireton, Iowa; Roger, Fordyce; Danny and Marlene, Hartington; Cindy and James Welch, Crofton; Connie, Yankton, S.D.; Tammy and Curtis Brodersen, Coleridge; Judy and Robert Medeck, Yankton, S.D.; Joyce and Dale Knode, Yankton, S.D.; Alice and Tim O’Hara, Yankton, S.D.; and Teresa and Jerome Kubal, Carrington, N.D.; and 32 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters Irene (Lawrence) Wuebben, Yankton, S.D., and Florence Luft, Omaha; and two brothers, Jim Peitz, Crofton, and Lawrence Peitz, Menominee.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Peitz; husband, Eugene, June 8, 1985, at the age of 54; her parents-in-law, Edward and Helen Wieseler; two brothers, Raymond Peitz and Richard (Ann) Peitz; brothers-in-law, Alvin and Donovan Wieseler, and Jerry Luft; sisters-in-law, Glendora Wieseler, Arlys Peitz and Betty Peitz; and great-grandson, Eli Tirrill.
