NORTH PLATTE — The Cedar Catholic girls golf team finished the State Class C Golf Tournament in sixth place.
Cassidy Ulrich finished the tourney in 17th place with a 181. She was tied for the spot with Sidney Rash of Doniphan-Trumbull.
Cedar was tied for third after the first day of competition, but had trouble handling Tuesday’s weather on the Lake Maloney Golf Course.
Ulrich was only one of three Cedar golfers who was able to improve on their first-day score, firing an 87 on Tuesday to top her 94 from Monday.
Ireland Biltoft and Ashley Kneifl finished the day tied for 29th, both shooting a 197 at State. Biltoft fired a 96 on Tuesday, shaving five strokes off her first-day score.
Brandy Wiebelhaus had a 101 for her first day total and carded a 109 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 47th.
Ashley Heine rounded out the scoring for Cedar. She ended the tourney with a 218. She shot a 108 on Tuesday, shaving two strokes off her score from Monday.
