Sioux City, Iowa — Larry A. Case, 75, Sioux City, Iowa. died Sept. 6, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.
Larry was born Sept. 11, 1940. in Belden, to Otto and Marjorie (Soverign) Case. He married Mary Ann Spieler Sept. 25, 1965, in Marcus, Iowa. Larry was in the United States Army and served in Korea following the war.
Larry was a truck driver in the Siouxland area for most of his life. As an avid golfer, in retirement, Larry would golf five days a week. He was a member of the Larry Levering Golf Group.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Case, Sioux City, Iowa: son, Stacy Case, and his wife, Melissa, Pioneer, Calif.; daughter, Debi Merkle, and her husband, Wayne, Grafton, Wis.; brother, Lyle Case, Sioux City Iowa; sisters, Loretta Cook, Belden, and Lynette Carlson, Sioux City, Iowa; and grandchildren, Brett and Alex Case, and Jacob, Nicholas, Zachary and Joshua Merkle.
Larry was preceded in death by parents, Otto and Majorie Case; brothers, James Donner and Gene Donner; a sister, Lois Lunda; and mother- and father-in-law, Martin and Loretta Spieler.
