HARTINGTON —Two “outstanding” 4-H members, Kaci Groene and Sarah Lammers, were recognized with top awards at Sunday’s Cedar County 4-H Achievement Banquet.
To be eligible for the award, the recipient had to complete a minimum of five years in the Cedar County 4-H program and have completed a variety of projects, leadership and community service. The 4-H members submit a story to the Judging Committee telling of their accomplishments.
Groene and Lammers each received a check for $200 from the 4-H Council along with a plaque which is sponsored by the Cedar County News.
Their names will be added to the Outstanding 4-H Members Plaque on display at the Extension Office in Hartington.
