Cedar County doesn’t need state designation to prove its farm friendly

Hartington — Cedar County is a farm community and has a history of being friendly to livestock producers.

Cedar County Commissioners will continue taking steps to be livestock friendly even though no action has been taken to make an application for the state designation of a “Livestock Friendly County.”

Last week Board members and Zoning Administrator Dave Sudbeck briefly discussed a request made in March to secure the designation.
