Local wrestlers compete at State

OMAHA — The Cedar Catholic wrestlers had to work the butterflies out in the first round of the Class B state tournament Thursday.

“Going to state was our goal at the beginning of the year,” coach Justin Bartling said. “We got there, but we just came up a little bit short. I couldn’t be prouder of how we did.”

All three local wrestlers lost their first matches and had to work back through the wrestle-back rounds.
