Bloomfield — Joanne M. Rolfes, 63, Bloomfield, died Jan. 22, 2015, at South Lake Village, Lincoln.
Visitation was Jan. 26 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Bloomfield.
Mass of Christian Burial was Jan. 27 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Bloomfield, with Rev. Michael Schmitz officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Vermillion, S.D.
Joanne was born June 11, 1951, in Vermillion, S.D., to Robert and Cleo (Lee) Fuchs. She attended St. Agnes Elementary School, graduating from Vermillion High School in 1969. She earned her LPN license from St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Pierre, S.D.
Joanne will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her strong faith in Christ the Lord, her positive attitude, and her sense of humor. She was always ready for a game of cards, especially cribbage. She was an active member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons, and three grandchildren, Bobby Rolfes and wife, Ginger, and daughter, Neva, Charlotte, N.C.; John Rolfes and wife, Keke, and sons, Jackson and Nash, Lincoln; one brother, Bill Fuchs and wife, Patti, Pierre, S.D.; four nieces and nephews, Schelle Fitzpatrick with husband, Jon, Michael Fuchs, Tommy Fuchs and Mariah Fuchs.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, and siblings, James Fuchs, Paul Fuchs and Gayle Fuchs.
