RANDOLPH — Robert W. Thomas, 82, Randolph, formerly of Hoskins, died July 13, 2014, at Faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk.
Visitation was July 15 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Randolph.
Funeral services were July 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Randolph, with Rev. Derrick Fallon officiating.
Burial was in Green Wood Cemetery, Wayne.

Bob was born May 28, 1932, near Carroll, to Wayne H. and Hilda L. (Bruggeman) Thomas. He attended school in Carroll and graduated from Hoskins High School. Bob married Bernita Reeg Sept. 29, 1950, near Winside. The couple farmed near Hoskins and then Wayne. He then worked for 3M as a supervisor for many years until he started his own business “Ultimate Communications,” providing satellite and cell phone services to Randolph and surrounding communities.
Bob is survived by his children, Jean and Dan Fulton, Norfolk; Cindy and Richard (Hoodie) Krause, Hoskins; Bill Thomas and Shelly Mlnarik, Hoskins; Kathy and LaVerle Miller, York; Marci and Merlin Lambrecht, Omaha; Tammy and Ernie Paustian, Carroll; and Traci Thomas, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, in 1965; one daughter, Connie Bailey; and one grandson, Joe Paustian.
