RANDOLPH — Delbert G. Stevens, 74, Randolph, died July 25, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident near Belden.

Visitation was July 29 at Johnson Funeral Home, Randolph.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., July 30, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Randolph, with Rev. Dr. Derrick Fallon officiating.

Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Garret Robinson, Greg Robinson, Austin Novotny, Austin Lenhoff, Tom Bauer and Al Stevens.

Delbert was born July 16, 1940, in Pierce County near Randolph, to Harlan and Freida (Hilkemann) Stevens. He was baptized and confirmed at United Methodist Church, Randolph, and graduated from Randolph High School in 1958. Delbert married Joyce Sohren Sept. 6, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Randolph, and they had three children, Connie, Mark and Cheri. The couple spent their lives farming east of Randolph.

He loved spending his time on the farm and keeping up his lawn.

He is survived by his three children, Connie Atkinson, Norfolk; Mark Stevens, Henderson, Nev.; Cheri Lenhoff, Lincoln; five grandchildren, Claudia Atkinson, Norfolk; Amber and Austin Novotny, Lincoln; Austin Lenhoff, Lincoln; Kayla Lenhoff, Lincoln; three great-grandchildren, Bentley Miller; Keegan Novotny and Aydan Newman; one brother and wife, Alvin and Karen Stevens, Henderson, Nev.; two sisters and husbands, Margery and Leland Johnson, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Susan and Walter Jensen, Norfolk; one sister-in-law, Kay Stevens, Randolph; and many nieces and nephews.

Delbert is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; and one brother, Gerald.
