Russ Hochstein’s childhood dream wa realized years ago.
As a little kids growing up in Hartington, he dreamed of some day growing up to play football at Memorial Stadium, and some day maybe even playing football in the National Football League.
Never in his wildest dreams could the 1996 Cedar Catholic graduate ever imagined where his love for football would take him.
He became a three-year starter for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, a team captain his senior year, and an All American. He then went on to a 13-year NFL career where he started in two Super Bowls and played in a third.
