City moves ahead on Flood Control funding

HARTINGTON — The Hartington City Council voted Monday to accept the bid and grants for the long-awaited flood control project.

Economic Development Corporation Board member Dan Kathol presented the Council with final cost projections, completion dates and loan repayment schedules.

After some discussion, the board voted to approve the project at a cost of $928,152 after grants and loan forgiveness for completing the project on time.
