HARTINGTON — Over 300 visitors took a look back in history when they stopped in at the Cedar County Museum for Sunday’s 50th Birthday Celebration.
Karen Bonneau, who serves as vice-president for the Museum Board, was happy with the large number of people that turned out for the event.
“We were very pleased with the crowd,” Bonneau said. “It was perfect day.”
Homemade ice cream, cake, coffee and juice were served to the visitors at the Open House.
Tour guides and members of the Cedar County Historical Museum Board provided interesting tidbits and historical facts about Cedar County and the exhibits on hand at the museum.
