Maurice Ketter gets ready to take a cut at the ball during action in Saturday night’s Wynot Expos Old Timer’s game at the Wynot Baseball Field. Ketter, 77, was the oldest old timer in the contest, which the old guys ended up winning. Three generations of players from Wynot’s past and present met in a modified game setting and to the delight of a large crowd, both sides put on an entertaining show. Game organizers Roger Jones and present manager Lee Heimes said if the rising popularity of the event continues this might become an annual affair. Free will offerings were accepted to help with expenses for current and future baseball activities in the Wynot community.
