HARTINGTON — The Hartington golf team competed at the West Point-Beemer Invitational on April 7.
Tekameh-Herman won the event with a 336. the T-H team also had the top two golfers on the day as Preston Walford earned medalist honors with an 80 and Blake Obermeyer was runner-up with an 83.

“This was a hard day to play. This is a difficult course in and of itself, but throw in the wind and really none of the scores were real low,” said Hartington Coach Ken Kneifl. “We were missing a couple of players due to the State FFA Convention. Hopefully we will have some nice weather to where we can practice consistently. This first part of the year is always so start and stop, it’s hard to get your swing down.”
