Tammi Ewing, age 46, of Yankton, South Dakota, died Monday, February 4, 2008, at her residence in Yankton.
Private Services for all of her family and close friends will be at 10:30am Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Wintz and Ray Funeral Home in Yankton.
Tammi was born on December 9, 1961 at Santa Monica, CA to De Wayne Allen and Eleanor R. (Dearth) King. She grew up in Yankton and attended Yankton High School. She was married to Kevin Ptak for 25 years and to this union three children were born. She married J.D. Ewing on July 15, 2007 at Winner, SD. Tammi collected fairies, angels, and Precious Moments statues. She loved being with her family and friends, especially those times when she could sit in the sun at the pool with her kids. If it was pink or purple Tammi loved it. She also loved all of her pets.
Tammi is survived by her husband J. D. Ewing of Yankton, 4 children; Liz and Corey Kramer of Hartington, Natosha and Rory Hamilton of Yankton, Kelly Ptak and Nick Ptak both of Sioux Falls, 5 grandchildren, father, De Wayne and Deanna King of DeSoto, Texas, mother, Eleanor and Louis Juttelstad of Yankton, 2 sisters; Dawn and Tony Anderson of Yankton, Jessica and Jason Larson of Lemars, Iowa, 2 brothers; De Wayne King Jr. of Newcastle, Wyoming, Timothy Louis Juttlestad of Des Moines, Iowa, her former husband Kevin Ptak of Yankton, manyaunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, 2 uncles, Dennis and Donald King, and Danny Gratzfeld
